VetPal Prescription Service – In-Store at White’s Agri
All wormers and antiparasitic medicines for horses and livestock now require a veterinary prescription before they can be supplied — this is part of the new electronic National Veterinary Prescription System (NVPS) being introduced across Ireland to support responsible medicine use and animal health.
What Is VetPal?
VetPal is a digital platform that connects animal keepers with veterinarians, helping to create the necessary client–patient–practice relationship and enabling vets to issue prescriptions electronically for the medicines your animals need. Through VetPal, vets can assess treatment needs and provide prescriptions for collection at a supplier like White’s Agri.
How Our VetPal Service Works
If you don’t already have a prescription from your own vet, we can organise the VetPal prescription for you in-store:

Discuss your animal’s needs — we’ll ask a few simple questions about the animal’s condition and treatment history.

Farm history details — we’ll take basic information on the farm’s background where required.

We handle the prescription request — using VetPal, we liaise with a qualified vet who can issue the necessary prescription directly to us.

Collect your product — once the prescription is authorised, we supply the product as normal, with no codes for you to manage.
Pricing
There is a €4.95 VetPal administration fee per product. If you need multiple quantities of the same product, that’s all covered under a single €4.95 charge — making it more efficient and affordable for you.
Simple & Convenient
This service is done entirely in-store with the support of our team — no need for you to download apps or handle digital codes. We take care of the process so you can continue to keep your animals protected and compliant with the new prescription rules.
