Use & Installation
The Trailer Cop is designed to fit into the trailer’s 50mm ball coupling. Once inserted and locked, the expandable mechanism blocks access to the coupling, helping prevent the trailer from being attached to a towing vehicle.
- Ensure the trailer is stationary and safely secured.
- Insert the Trailer Cop lock into the compatible 50mm ball coupling.
- Operate the lock using the supplied key to expand and secure the mechanism.
- Check that the lock is securely engaged before leaving the trailer unattended.
- Remove the lock using the key before coupling the trailer for towing.
