Description
Lodi UV Blocks are non-toxic rodent monitoring blocks designed to help identify and track rat and mouse activity in agricultural buildings, farms, feed stores, grain stores, livestock buildings and other areas where rodent monitoring is important.
The blocks provide a simple way to monitor rodent activity because you can see when the blocks have been eaten or nibbled, giving a clear indication of where rodents are active and helping you identify areas that may require further investigation or control measures. This makes them particularly useful for ongoing rodent monitoring and checking activity levels before, during and after a rodent control programme.
The blocks also contain a fluorescent UV tracker. When rodents consume the blocks, their urine can fluoresce under a suitable UV torch, providing an additional method of identifying rodent runs and activity areas that may not otherwise be obvious.
As a non-toxic monitoring bait, Lodi UV Blocks contain no rodenticide and are intended for monitoring rather than killing rodents. They can form part of an integrated rodent management programme, helping to establish where rodent activity is occurring and whether activity is continuing after control measures have been undertaken.

How Lodi UV Blocks Work
Place the blocks in suitable monitoring locations where rodent activity is suspected. Regularly checking the blocks for signs of feeding provides a straightforward indication of rodent activity – if blocks are being eaten, rodents are active in that area.
The blocks can then be used to help identify hotspots and determine where further investigation, proofing or rodent control may be required.
The integrated UV tracker provides an additional level of monitoring. Using a suitable UV torch, fluorescent rodent urine can help reveal runs and areas of activity, particularly where signs of rodents are otherwise difficult to spot.
Lodi UV Blocks are a monitoring product, not a rodenticide, so they should be used as part of an appropriate rodent management programme rather than as a replacement for rodent control where an infestation is present. Always follow the product label and relevant guidance.
