Coal Merchants
Whites Agri are pleased to announce that they have in place, the only Drive-Thru Indoor Solid Fuel Depot in
the greater Dublin area.
This allows us to keep all our solid fuel under one roof and we can load each vehicle and trailer in a
dry and safe manner and ensures that all solid fuel loaded into the cars is kept dry, clean and of top quality. The bags sizes
are also a maximum of 25kilo in weight which make them very consumer friendly.
All our Solid Fuel is very competitively priced and
is significantly discounted compared to forecourt and coal man prices. We also have a local delivery service with a minimum ten bag order.
Polish Coal
This product is easy to light, has low ash and gives a high heat output. For use in traditional open fire only.
Features:

Household Coal
A standard grade of coal that burns well in most fires, slightly higher ash content and lower heat output than Polish coal.
While adding logs/briquettes to the fire, will help decrease the amount of cinder left behind.

Back Boiler Beans
A small grade of coal chippings, that is a mixture of Polish, English and Columbian grade. Very useful for keeping in an
established fire in the same way that slack does, with the main difference being that Boiler Beans also create their own heat
while containing the fire.

Union Nuggets
Each Nugget is a small Octave block of highly compressed dry peat. They are a smokeless fuel which is easy to light and burn out completely.

Standard Anthracite
Anthracite is the highest rank of all coals. It is a high Carbon, low Sulphur and high BTU coal. Anthracite is a "smokeless"
fuel unlike some of the lower grades of coal. It burns cleaner, hotter and longer than any other coal. These properties make it ideal for home
heating use. Whilst difficult to light as against the traditional solid fuel fire, when lit this product will give a high heat output. For use in enclosed
fires only.

Calco Smokeless
Advantages:
- Easier to light than most smokeless fuels.
- High heat output.
- Low ash (but enough to help protect the grate).
- Always well sized
Available in clean convenient packaging this fuel is best used in an open fire and preferably with a back boiler for that additional added value.
Calco smokeless coal offers high heat output and low ash. The introduction of the Nuggets to the blend makes the product easier to light than most
smokeless fuels. The Nuggets also offer the added flame that is important to the appearance of the real fire.

Bale of Briquetts
Advantages:
- Cleaner to handle than coal.
- Do not spit spark.
- Produce less smoke.
- Application friendly.
- Smokeless.
As a fuel you will find this product easier to light then most smokeless fuels and a reasonable output and low ash content.
The product can be used in both open fireplaces or closed appliances. As a smokeless fuel it can be burnt both inside and outside smokeless zones.
Fire Logs
Firelog have been developed for the convenience market helping customers who are short on time, yet are keen to have a real fire at home with the minimum of preparation.
Firelogs are a convenient which when lite will take the bare look off any fireplace, they will burn for 1.5 to 2 hours
and research has shown that 45% of people who purchase a firelog are using it to light their fire, in that they keep the
fire going by topping it up with coal or Peat Briquettes.
Ecoflame
Adventages:
- Easy to light.

- Low ash residue.
- Can be used as fertilizer.
- Clean handling.
- Lively flame.
Features:
A CO2 friendly fuel, Eco flame wood briquettes give you a lively flame, good heat output and low ash residue.
Any ash residue from Ecoflame wood briquettes, when burnt alone, can be spread and used in your garden for fertilizer.
Ideally burnt alone, it can also be used as a start up for other solid fuels.
Wood Pellets
Brites Wood Pellets reduce carbon emissions to the atmosphere and help combat climate change. They are very clean and can be
handled easily without any mess. brites burn evenly and efficiently giving a constant heat. The only material in the pellets is natural
wood - there are no additives or artificial binding agents.

Strogs
Characteristics:
- 100% Carbon Neutral
- 100% Natural Biomass
- Calorific Value: 16.5 to 17.5 MJ/Kg
- Humidity: 10-15%
- Ash: 3-5% (pure potash, excellent fertiliser)
Strogs may be burned in the open fireplaces, ceramic stoves, culm stoves, kitchen stoves, biomass stoves and central heating
boilers (standard ones and those with automatic feeders) where manufactures recommend.
Logs and Kindlings
Logs: Our bags of Logs are filled with top quality deciduous timber e.g. ash, oak, sycamore etc, conifer type trees are forbidden.
We never pack wet logs into our clear see through bags and all our logs are uniform in size.
Kindlings: The ideal fire starter, only dried, cut, uniform lengths of timber are selected to be bagged into our clear see through bags.
Turf
Turf is the original Irish fuel.
It does smoke quite a bit, but it produces an aromatic smoke with a lovely character. It takes a while to catch, relying
more on heat than open flame. Turf takes a while to light, but once caught it burns completely to ash and provides a long-lasting, warm fire.
